Hour of Code is an initiative that focuses on teaching students how to think creatively and logically in order to “create, not just use” technology. They suggest picking one of the many tutorials and spending one hour on it (thus the name!). Their website allows students to filter the tutorials by age and topic. Pick any and play around with it! The tutorials start off very easy, and get gradually more challenging. You might even find your kid wanting to spend more than an hour on it. And parents, you can try some out too!
